Match Overview

If the Kansas City Blues weren’t spooked enough by fans in Halloween costumes here at Infinity Park, they quickly learned the Raptors were even scarier spirits to pass through as they were left totally in the dark.

Like the Old Irish festival for “summer’s end” the Raptors piled up the score like snow piled along the sidelines to make Kansas City feel like they were visiting a haunted attraction. The Glendale mystical monsters carved up the scoreboard with 35 points in the first 35 minutes of the game. Raptor fans were treated to a halftime score of 42 to 3.
The Raptors scored five trys in the first half while Kansas City managed only a single three point penalty kick. Meanwhile Mike Graham was good on all penalty and conversion kicks in the half.

The Raptors were able to ward off any scoring by the Kansas City Blues for a full 60 minuets of play. The Blues finally made their only score, a try and two point conversion kick, at 68 minutes. Then like the snowstorm of a couple of days earlier, the Raptors added a flurry of three trys to end the game. The final score was 64 to 10.

The final game of the fall season is at Infinity Park Nov. 14 against Colorado State University.
