PLAYING SURFACE (The “Pitch”)
The Stadium: the Pitch surface is just over two acres in size, making it the largest natural, sand-based stadium field in the state of Colorado. The root zone of the surface grass is made up of 2,437.5 cubic yards (1,864 cubic meters) of precisely sized grains of sand. Sand is used for its remarkable drainage capabilities, thereby providing a dry, level and safe playing surface. In preparation for each rugby game, eight gallons of bright white paint are used to paint the lines.
The Park: Infinity Park has expanded its footprint to include a beautiful, green open space for its residents and the surrounding community. This eight-acre park — located immediately south of The Stadium - includes such amenities as walking/jogging paths, public lawns, picnic tables, BBQ grills and free wireless throughout. Also featured are a park pavilion and multi-purpose sports field. While the sports field is a 70m x 100m IRB-sanctioned synthetic-turf rugby field, it is a great space for many types of field activities: football, soccer, lacrosse, frisbee and more.
The park pavilion and sports field may be rented separately or together for private or public events or sporting activities. For more information, contact Kieran Nelson at
