Match Overview

The Lady Raptors took the field against CU for their first match of the year at Infinity Park on Saturday Aug. 29th. With many new faces to the lady raptors, Coach Wendy Cook was not sure what to expect. But, the Raptors had a strong game with 11 people scoring, which gave a great view of team work by the Raptors. CU's defense was very strong with many try saving tackles from #12 and 15 from CU. Because of the support play in tackle, the Raptors were able to come away with a convincing win of 83-0.

Coach Cook said, " I am pleased with the new talent that has come in and the work of all the returning players. I am excited for the rest of the season."

Next week the St. Louis Sabres come to Denver for a interterritorial battle.

Scoring: Cody Monroe, Jaime Lange 2, Mandee Demler, Bethany Zick and 2 Con., Tess Armstrong 2, Hannah Birge 2, Bethany Humphrey and 2 Con., Teresa Sais T, Andrea Prusinski T, Katie Janus 2, Krissy Vargas
