| Beautiful Day for a Raptors Win |

It was 70 degrees at kick off as the High School Raptors kicked off their 2009 campaign at home vs. the Warriors. The game was all Glendale all the time. The Raptors scored early and often as a result of big, line breaking runs from Raptor big men Kevin Palmer and James Delbosque, great runs by scrumhalf and captain Jordan Schmitz, powerful breaks by center Austin Livingston and good speed shown by both the wings and fullback. Raptors were great in the line outs, played good team defense and chalked up the win 44-0. It is good to get the first league game under our belts and to mark it in the win column, we still have a lot to work on and our schedule gets tougher as the year progresses |
