Glendale Raptors spread their love of Rugby to todays youth E-mail

Youth Rugby After School Program

With child obesity rates exploding to levels none of us have ever seen before the need for youth activity programs couldn't be in higher demand, but in todays struggling economy families are barely making ends meet without the added expense of putting their children in an expensive after school program.

But the Glendale Raptors, a Division I Rugby program, in Glendale Colorado, a small suburb inside of Denver, is trying to help all of that by offering very affordable after school programs that with their youth Rugby After School Program. This program aims at teaching kids the fundamentals of the sport of Rugby as well as team and leadership skills .These programs are for both boys and girls, ages 5 – 13, and each child is placed in different age groups and ability levels and coached by Glendale rugby players.

This amazing program is not only low cost but is a great way for kids to be active, play, and learn valuable life skills while learning Rugby. If you would like more information about the youth rugby program you can contact Jenna Anderson, our Youth Rugby Coordinator by emailing her at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Recently, players from the Glendale Raptors have been visiting local area schools to spread the word of their after school program to let people know about the program.  Starting Nov 30, for three weeks, the Raptors will be visiting Pine Lane Elementary in Parker, CO. And if anyone is intersted in having them visit their schools they would be happy to talk to you about it.  Once again, the person to contact about this is Jenna Anderson.
